STANFORD WOMEN IN MEDICINE LOGO
The first picture below is when I first became the Director of Media and Marketing and was left with the responsibility to enhance our logo. I went through two separate concepts, the first being the upside down Stanford tree representing the universal medical serpent symbol. I did not feel it really captured the energy of our premed club, so I went back to the drawing board and came up with a design that focused more on actual medical imagery, like the stethoscope. I was quite clever in my design with the physician coat pocket. I wanted to make that the focus because that is where doctors keep their ID badges, representing their identity and essentially branding our club further. This design served well in my shirt design since I intentionally chose white shirts, and put the logo where a pocket would be to mimic the physician white coat.
